Duties of the Financial Affairs Directorate

  • Prepare the institution's budget, financial reports, and final accounts.
  • Carry out procedures related to the institution's budget, annual work plan, income-expenditure final accounts, annual report, and other reports; conduct studies on transfers between budget items when necessary.
  • Prepare the annual report containing comprehensive financial statements based on the consolidated income statements, balance sheets, and annual activities of the previous fiscal year, and carry out procedures for sending it to relevant places for information by the end of April of the following year at the latest, as well as procedures related to the approval of the budget.
  • Execute procedures related to the collection and follow-up of the institution's revenues, manage and safeguard the institution's cash assets.
  • Ensure the receipt, storage, delivery to relevant parties, sending, and recording of all financial transactions involving money, valuables expressed in monetary terms, and deposits.
  • Make regulations regarding the implementation of legislation related to financial matters.
  • Execute procedures related to the institution's chart of accounts and accounting records.
  • Ensure that the institution's expenditures are made within the framework of the approved budget and in accordance with spending procedures and principles.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the President.
