Duties of the Consumer Relations Directorate

  • Except for matters falling within the scope of the Telecommunications Communication Presidency, to receive, evaluate, and ensure the response to consumers' complaints, requests, and suggestions related to the Institution's field of duty.
  • To evaluate notifications made by persons whose devices containing electronic identity information registered in the Central Mobile Device Identity Definition Database System have been taken away without their consent.
  • To evaluate registration applications for devices containing electronic identity information offered for use through import, manufacturing, or carried by passengers.
  • To establish or have established, operate or have operated an information and notification center.
  • To conduct the classification, evaluation, response, follow-up, and reporting processes of consumer complaints.
  • To share the prepared reports with relevant units.
  • To evaluate applications transferred from other institutions regarding consumers and ensure their resolution.
  • To meet requests from prosecutor's offices, courts, customs, and security units regarding devices containing electronic identity information.
  • To perform duties within the scope of the Law No. 4982 dated 9/10/2003 on the Right to Information.
  • To perform other duties assigned by the President.
