Duties of the Information Systems Directorate Presidency

• To make arrangements regarding the operation of devices possessing electronic identity credentials and number portability systems.
  
• To design, establish, operate, develop in parallel with technological advancements, and ensure the security, continuity, and operability of the Institution's electronic communication and informatics infrastructure, including the mobile device registration system, central reference database, and national monitoring system.
• To identify the informatics hardware needed by the Institution and ensure their allocation.
• To establish the Institution's internet and intranet infrastructures, prepare, update, and develop their content, and monitor developments and activities related to internet and access technologies.
• To establish and operate the electronic document management system and enterprise resource planning service within the Institution.
• To establish and operate the Institution's information security management system and follow the related standards,
  
• To conduct or commission studies on the continuity of information systems and disaster recovery, and to monitor developments in this area.
• To perform infrastructure studies for the provision of services offered by the Institution under the e-government framework and to follow developments and activities related to the delivery of state services to citizens through electronic means.
• To perform other tasks assigned by the President.
