Expert assistants;

As an expert assistant,

  • having worked for three years, excluding the portion exceeding three months of the total sick leave taken during the expert assistantship period with unpaid leave,
  • having received a positive record each year,
  • the thesis they prepare being accepted,
  • having succeeded in the proficiency exam,
  • possessing, during the expert assistantship period and within at most two years from the proficiency exam, at least 70 from YDS or an equivalent score from another internationally valid exam whose equivalence in terms of language proficiency is accepted
  •  under these conditions, they earn the right to be appointed as Experts.

Duties and Powers of Experts

Experts are obliged to ensure that the tasks assigned to the Institution by the relevant legislation are carried out in a regular, effective, swift, and economical manner, and to perform all expert studies required by the services conducted by the Institution. Accordingly, the duties and powers of the experts are as follows:

  • To carry out the operations and transactions of the unit to which they are assigned.
  • To monitor and evaluate the implementation of secondary regulations enacted for the performance of tasks given to the Institution by the relevant legislation and Board decisions taken; to develop suggestions regarding the procedures and implementations to be established as a result, and to make proposals regarding the works to be done and measures to be taken.
  • To conduct inspection activities within the framework of the authority given.
  • To monitor and examine the implementation and results of matters related to the provisions of the relevant legislation in international agreements, to make necessary proposals, and to follow domestic and international meetings and studies.
  • To perform similar duties assigned by managers.
