Duties of the Board Chairman
- To determine the agenda, date, and time of the Board meetings, to manage the meetings, to take necessary actions regarding applications not placed on the agenda, and to inform the Board accordingly.
- To finalize suggestions received from service units and present them to the Board.
- To take necessary actions to ensure the implementation of the Board's decisions and to monitor their application.
- To prepare the institution's annual budget and financial statements, and to approve the final accounts.
- To provide organization and coordination at the highest level for the efficient and harmonious operation of the service units.
- To prepare the annual work plan and activity reports, and to evaluate activities according to objectives, targets, and performance criteria.
- To conduct evaluations regarding personnel performance criteria.
- To appoint institution personnel except those foreseen to be appointed by the Board.
- To decide on granting or denying permission for investigations regarding crimes committed by institution personnel during or due to their duties.
- To determine the scope of duties and authority of personnel authorized to sign on behalf of the Institution President.
- To assign personnel to act as proxies for deputy presidents and unit managers absent from duty.
- To manage the institution's relations with the Ministry and other organizations.
- To decide on the temporary assignment of institution personnel within the country.
- To decide whether to conduct examinations on sector-related matters and to assign relevant personnel.
- To perform other duties related to the institution's management and operations.
