Duties of the Legal Advisory

• Conduct legal reviews, compile and evaluate legislation, track changes and inform relevant parties, provide opinions on draft legislation.
  
• Provide legal opinions on matters referred by the President and carry out procedures related to resorting to legal remedies.
• Ensure the follow-up and conclusion of lawsuits and enforcement proceedings in which the Institution is a party; when necessary, carry out procedures for concluding attorney contracts with freelance lawyers and/or law partnerships, represent the Institution in these lawsuits and proceedings, and inform relevant parties.
• Carry out the necessary legal actions and procedures before relevant judicial authorities regarding inspection, audit, and investigation reports referred by the President.
• In cases where requests are made for the follow-up of investigations and prosecutions initiated against the President, members, and Institution personnel—even if they have left their positions—for alleged crimes related to their duties, carry out the necessary procedures for covering litigation expenses and attorney fees from the Institution's budget within the framework of relevant legislation when lawyers assigned via power of attorney contracts with them handle these cases.
• Represent the Institution before judicial and administrative courts, arbitrators, enforcement offices, commissions, relevant public institutions and organizations, and international arbitration tribunals on legal matters related to the Institution's duties.
• In exceptional cases requiring specific expertise on the subject, carry out procedures for obtaining legal opinions from expert individuals and organizations and/or having them follow up on cases.
  
• Carry out procedures related to waiving lawsuits or enforcement proceedings or appeals to legal remedies, as well as amicably settling disputes that have reached litigation or enforcement or accepting the case.
• Perform other duties assigned by the President.
