Contributions of 4.5G to Employment
It can be stated that the mobile electronic communication technologies (2G, 3G) currently used in our country meet today's consumer expectations. However, factors such as the proliferation of rich-content applications and smart devices that increase mobile data/internet consumption are expected to cause the existing mobile electronic communication network capacities to become insufficient over time. On the other hand, a 10% increase in broadband penetration results in a 1% increase in that country's gross domestic product, creating approximately 80 new job opportunities in the sector for every additional 1,000 broadband users.
