Cyber Security Initiative

The Cyber Security Initiative; under the umbrella of the Internet Development Board, with the participation of sector stakeholders, aims to conduct studies in the field of cyber security, collect opinions from all stakeholders, facilitate idea exchange and collaboration between institutions, generate common ideas, and present its works to the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication.

Some of the activities of the Cyber Security Initiative include: raising awareness among citizens and small businesses on cyber security, creating awareness, developing and explaining protective measures, producing positive content, determining minimum security criteria for data centers and internet service providers, conducting sectoral risk analysis, determining cyber security standards, and publishing reports and guides.

Some working groups have been established under the Cyber Security Initiative. These groups are listed below;
