Those who achieved rankings in the Cyber Star “Capture the Flag” competition, organized by the Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK) to uncover the potential of young people with high aptitude for technology for employment in the increasingly important field of Cybersecurity in national defense, are being awarded. The award ceremony will be held on March 16, 2017, at 14:00 in the BTK building, with the attendance of Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communication Ahmet ARSLAN.
CYBER STAR WINNERS RECEIVE THEIR AWARDS
Following the call of BTK President Dr. Ömer Fatih Sayan, thousands of people who said “I Am Here Too” for our country in the field of Cybersecurity applied to USOM. To determine the competency levels of the applicants, the Cyber Star “Capture the Flag” competition was organized on January 20. The competition, which took place in a fierce struggle, lasted 24 hours. From among 12,416 individuals and 1,256 groups participating in the Cyber Star competition, the top 15 groups that captured all flags and entered the rankings will receive their awards on March 16 from BTK President Dr. Ömer Fatih Sayan and Minister of Transport, Maritime and Communication Ahmet Arslan.
