
The Information Technologies and Communication Authority hosted the “Cyber Security Problems Encountered in the Energy Sector and Solutions Conference.”
The conference was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, the Information Technologies and Communication Authority, and the Information Security Association. The program was attended by BTK Deputy President Selamettin Ermiş, Institution Deputy President Dr. Mustafa Küçükali, BGD President Ahmet Hamdi Atalay, and SOMEs.
In the program, Deputy President Küçükali, who delivered a welcoming speech, emphasized the importance of cybersecurity. Stating that the organized conference aims to shed light on the problems and disruptions experienced in the energy sector regarding cybersecurity, Küçükali said, “We hope these conferences continue. As BTK, we are ready to work for this cause. In addition to communication, we plan to continue these programs in sectors such as banking, finance, and health.”
BGD President Atalay also drew attention to the fact that cybersecurity is indispensable for our country. Atalay added that domestic and national production is also very important in terms of ensuring cybersecurity.
