The Bilişim 500 Award Ceremony, organized by BThaber, was held in Istanbul. Dr. Ömer Fatih Sayan, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, also attended the ceremony.
Speaking at the opening of the ceremony attended by prominent figures in the IT world, Sayan made important statements about the future of the IT sector.
Stating that the rapid transformation in the technology field continues to transform the modern world, Sayan said, “The IT sector is transforming not only the business world but also our social lives, contributing to the creation of a stronger society together. As professionals in the IT sector, we must be aware of our responsibilities and impact, and never forget how technology adds value to people.”
Emphasizing that the IT sector can become a sustainable source of prosperity for our country through domestic and national products, Sayan concluded his speech by saying, “We expect all our companies to consider their contributions to the domestic and national product ecosystem in product development, marketing, and even job interviews. By acting within the framework of our President's National Technology Initiative and Turkey Century vision, I believe we will contribute even more to the development of our country's IT infrastructure together.”
