Our BTK President Dr. Ömer Fatih Sayan stated that he is awaiting applications from young people who wish to join the national cyber incident response organization, which is a part of our national security, to be employed at USOM under BTK.

The preparation of cyber security policies, strategies, and action plans in our country, as well as the effective coordination of all relevant institutions, is being continued. Works towards the targets and actions determined under the coordination of the Directorate General of Communications and within the scope of the Cyber Security Board decisions are continuing under all circumstances.
BTK IS FIGHTING AGAINST CYBER ATTACKS
The national cyber incident response organization was first structured under the leadership of Prime Minister Binali YILDIRIM, and currently, cyber capacity building is being carried out by BTK within a program to strengthen this structure.
One of the two components of cyber capacity building is to increase the number of high-level cyber security experts at the National Cyber Incident Response Center (USOM) under the Information Technologies and Communication Authority (BTK), while the other component aims to develop the human resources of sectoral and institutional Cyber Incident Response Teams (SOMEs) in critical institutions and organizations in terms of quantity and quality.

There is a significant need and shortage of experts in the field of cyber security worldwide. In contrast, our country has a young and dynamic potential. Our youth's aptitude for technology is at a high level. We aim to unleash this potential. With the call we have made, we are awaiting applications from high-level experts (white-hat hackers) to be employed at USOM under BTK, volunteers who will support our cyber defense in the virtual environment, and young people to be included in training and camp activities in this field.
There is intense application from patriotic young people who say "I am here too" in the fields of technology and cyber security. In the coming weeks, we will evaluate these applications through competitions and exams and bring "formal or self-taught" high-level candidates to BTK. We will also guide talented young people through training programs.
