We expect Xiaomi to invest in our country not only in production but also in R&D."
Stating that multinational companies experienced the disadvantages of relying on a single supplier in production along with the pandemic, Sayan continued as follows:
Deputy Minister Sayan: A Balanced Distribution Could Be Possible in the World Geography Regarding Production
"For this reason, multinational companies in the global economy are now turning towards new and alternative production locations. We can foresee that a balanced distribution could be possible in the world geography regarding production. These opportunities need to be well evaluated. Our country is an important attraction center for multinational large companies in the technology field due to its geographical location as well as its qualified and young workforce. Our country's regulatory infrastructure provides conveniences to technology companies in the development, production, and market placement stages of electronic communication devices."
