
High school students attended the iftar program organized under the auspices of the Information Technologies and Communication Authority, sponsored by Samsung.
Ömer Abdullah Karagözoğlu, Chairman of the Information Technologies and Communication Authority, who spoke at the opening of the program, talked about the current state of technology, Samsung's activities, and the “Don’t Be a Cyber Bully” project jointly organized by Samsung Electronics and BTK.
Drawing attention to the fact that the world's leading brands were established in South Korea, Karagözoğlu said, “As you know, Samsung produces in various fields such as electronics, finance, and insurance. It not only creates economic values by maximizing profits and stakeholder values but also shapes its work with principles that center humans, contribute to society, and aim to protect the environment. Samsung also takes on great responsibility in offering innovative products and services. As an institution, we closely follow Samsung's work and speak of it with praise.”
Karagözoğlu touched upon the fact that changes in the technology field lead to the most changes in professional terms. Emphasizing that they prioritize studies in this field due to the increasing interest in technology, Karagözoğlu expressed his belief that young people will achieve even more beautiful projects.
Chairman Karagözoğlu also spoke about the “Don’t Be a Cyber Bully” project launched through the cooperation of Samsung Electronics and BTK. Stressing that as BTK, they will support every positive initiative that touches children's lives, especially in minimizing internet risks and the negativities caused by cyberbullying, Karagözoğlu concluded his speech by stating that this work creates significant awareness on cyberbullying.
