On this meaningful day, I commemorate with mercy and gratitude all the heroes of our War of Independence, starting with Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, and all our martyrs and veterans who have become immortal in the hearts of our nation with their unparalleled sacrifices, and I congratulate our citizens, especially our youth, on the 19 May Atatürk Commemoration, Youth and Sports Day.
