BTK President Karagözoğlu, in his speech, drew attention to the changes brought by recent years in technology. Karagözoğlu said, “In line with our country's 2023 targets, we want you to benefit from the blessings of technology with the best and equal opportunities. While benefiting from these blessings of the 21st century, our most important motto is to be a country that produces its own technology and leads the world. On the other hand, we are conducting our efforts to protect you from the harms of technology as well.”
Pointing out that communication infrastructures have now become a basic need, Karagözoğlu concluded his speech with the words, “From this perspective, we know that mobile communication is the backbone of communication. Considering all these conditions, the efforts demonstrated by the Mobile Telecommunications Operators Association, which has made a great contribution to establishing an ethical, effective, competitive, and liberal approach in the mobile telecommunications services sector in our country, are commendable. As an Institution, we are both close followers and supporters of this successful association of ours.”
