
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu announced that BTK Academy, which provides training to thousands of users, will reach new students with software camps.
The work on BTK Academy's software camps, operating under the Information Technologies and Communication Authority with the slogan "The Address of Knowledge," has reached its final stage. Regarding the topic, Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that in addition to online trainings, in-class trainings at the academy meet the professional and technical needs of everyone who wants to receive training on information technologies sector-related topics. Sharing the information that there are currently 1,008,279 registered users on the training portal, Karaismailoğlu said, "The weekly view count of our portal is approaching six hundred thousand. Approximately 10,000 new users join our portal every week. On the BTK Academy Online Training Portal (LMS), there are 106,556 minutes of online training under 9 main categories: Software World, K12 World, System World, Business World, Personal Development World, Design World, Safe Internet World, and Regulation World, with 212 topic headings."
Karaismailoğlu explained the purpose of the software camps as: "To reinforce the momentum achieved on the online platform with face-to-face trainings, to include middle school, high school, and university-aged young people who want to develop themselves in the software field into the informatics ecosystem as active learners, to discover their software talents, and to develop their competencies in this field under the guidance of professionals."
For now, the software camps will be held in the provinces of Trabzon, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Amasya, Ordu, Sinop, Elazığ, Zonguldak, Ankara, Antalya, Samsun, Şanlıurfa, İzmir, İstanbul, Erzurum, Kastamonu, Van, Muş, Çanakkale, Çorum, Eskişehir.
