Those who completed the Electromagnetic Field Measurement Course organized by the Information Technologies and Communication Authority received their certificates.
Information Technologies and Communication Authority President Ömer Abdullah Karagözoğlu attended the opening of the program. Expressing that this year's trainings were different due to the pandemic, Karagözoğlu said, “Our theoretical trainings were given through BTK Academy in the form of distance education. Our practical trainings, on the other hand, were given face-to-face to our trainees at our institution. No matter what the conditions are, we continued our trainings. Because we value this issue very much.”
Stating that international standards are taken as basis in electromagnetic field measurement, Karagözoğlu said, “As an institution, international standards are very important for us. Ensuring the measurement of electric field strength values of Electronic Communication Devices, especially base stations, and that these systems operate in accordance with limit values is the primary duty of our colleagues who do this job, in order to provide better service to our citizens.”
Also drawing attention to the studies on following new technologies, Karagözoğlu concluded his speech by giving brief information about the Measurement Tracking System (MTS).
After the speech, 24 successful participants in the exams received their certificates.
