Dr. Ömer Fatih Sayan, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, attended the iftar program hosted by BTK.
Deputy Minister Sayan, who attended the opening of the program sponsored by the Access Providers Association, spoke about the speed and impacts of technological advancements.
Noting that developing technology also affects people's preferences and satisfaction levels, Sayan drew attention to the fact that information and communication technologies do not only have positive effects. Expressing that the Ministry and BTK are working to protect people from the harms of the internet, Sayan thanked the Access Providers Association for their efforts.
Touching upon the importance of every step taken towards a brighter and more beautiful future for our country, Sayan addressed the youth and added: “We are working day and night to pave the way for you to take our state and nation further. I have full faith that you will do your utmost to build a strong and great Turkey of the future. Because this is in our essence. You too will be serious, dignified, modest, hardworking young people in every matter, just like your ancestors, always wanting to do everything perfectly, progressing quietly and deeply.”
Stating that we have big goals as a country, Deputy Minister Sayan concluded his speech by saying, “Our aim is service, our concern is the future. Handing over a safe and worry-free country to you, our children, is our greatest motto. We have a leader who guides us in this matter and removes the obstacles ahead. As you know, to achieve the 2023 vision, our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan launched the 'National Technology Initiative.' Because for us to be a strong country that leads in technology, it is essential that we produce our own technology.”
