Minister Yıldırım stated, in his remarks before the Cyber Security Board Meeting held at the Ministry, that the fourth meeting of the Cyber Security Board, established through the 2012 regulation, was taking place.
Minister Yıldırım, noting that the issue of cyber security has come to the forefront parallel to the widespread adoption of information and communication technologies across all areas of life, said that the cyber environment encompasses all kinds of communication, transactions, and operations conducted through electronic means over the internet.
Minister Yıldırım announced that all relevant institutions will convene at regular intervals to prepare an environment that makes the internet, which facilitates life, more secure and beneficial for humanity, and used the expression: "We will conduct a situation assessment and decide what kind of work we will carry out in the upcoming processes."
