Emphasizing that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's value for the youth and the mission he has entrusted to them is good news for both the country and the world, Sayan expressed that the impact of the momentum achieved in almost every field, especially the economy, over the last 17 years has been significant.
Stating that the world needs a courageous, faithful, dynamic generation that boldly stands up saying "I am here too," Sayan said, "Today, I see this dynamism here.”
Deputy Minister Sayan: We Are Working Overtime for Domestic and National Technologies That Will Cover All of Turkey
Stating that they conduct their ministry's work with a focus on domestic and national sensitivity, Sayan expressed that they are dedicating time to domestic and national technology efforts that will cover all of Turkey.
WhatsApp's security vulnerability was also on Sayan’s agenda. Deputy Minister Sayan noted that necessary warnings have been issued to WhatsApp officials to inform potentially affected users in Turkey and the measures taken against the vulnerability regarding the recent developments.
Calling for greater emphasis on using domestic and national applications due to security weaknesses in foreign-sourced applications, Sayan underlined the need for secure and conscious use of communication technologies. Stressing that applications such as "Laff" and "Bip," developed and offered by operators in Turkey, should be preferred over WhatsApp and similar communication and messaging apps, Sayan expressed his belief that the youth will develop new ones entirely with domestic and national resources in line with the 2023 targets.
