Information Technologies and Communication Authority President Ömer Abdullah Karagözoğlu and his accompanying delegation visited reeder's factory in Samsun. The delegation included Second President Figen Kılıç and Board Members. reeder, which was accepted into the EBRD SME Support Program in 2017, established its factory in Samsun in 2018 with a strategic partner from China, with a production capacity of 600,000 phones, tablets, and smartwatches, as the first and only technology investment in the Black Sea Region. At the factory visited by BTK President Karagözoğlu, information was provided to the president and his team about the production line and general operations.
President Karagözoğlu, who visited reeder's factory in Samsun, stated that they support domestic and national production. Karagözoğlu said, "Having such a formation in Samsun is a proud experience. I believe they will achieve greater things. We also support domestic and national production. We believe they will focus on R&D activities. We find the nationalization initiative appropriate. With these investments, our money will stay in our own country."
President Karagözoğlu and his accompanying delegation later toured the factory and conducted inspections.
