The proposal for the “Special Discounted Internet Campaign for Women Entrepreneurs” offering discounted internet packages to women entrepreneurs by Türk Telekomünikasyon A.Ş. has been accepted by the Information Technologies and Communication Authority decision.
Türk Telekom’s campaign was accepted on the grounds that it will enable operators and end-users to benefit from electronic communication networks, infrastructure, and services at reasonable prices; encourage the use of wholesale broadband access services, thereby promoting the supply of electronic communication services and new investments; increase service options for operators; and consider consumer benefits.
The Special Discounted Internet Campaign for Women Entrepreneurs consists of three models—Al-Sat model, VAE model, and YAPA model—offering discounts of up to fifty percent at different connection speeds. Women Entrepreneurs wishing to benefit from the campaign must apply in person between March 8, 2018, and June 30, 2018, and all participating Women Entrepreneurs can benefit from the discount until December 31, 2020. The aforementioned discounted tariffs can be valid together with “Broadband Campaigns” and “Sales Support Campaigns for Districts with Low Penetration Rates”.
Additionally, to benefit from the discount, the Women Entrepreneur Certificate issued by KOSGEB and the T.C. Identity Card will suffice for the Women Entrepreneur.
